Holy shit, it’s pretty late! We’ve been up with our son who has been voilently puking… Amy’s still out there in the living room with him, passed out. But there’s not enough room out there for me to sleep so I’m taking the bed.

Just been thinking a little about how neglectful I’ve been of the website. What is the point of it anyway? Well, it’s supposed to showcase my creative shit. Only problem is I haven’t been working on any creative shit! I think that’s about to change though… and I mean it this time.

As soon as we got our tax return I blew a ton of money on music gear. I got 2 new guitars, a new amp, a microphone stand, some pedals, miscelaneous cables and other shit. A couple of days ago I traded an older guitar for a 16-track portable recording studio. This one, to be specific:

It’s somewhat of a dinosaur as far as HDD recorders go.. it’s almost 10 years old. The master fader is fucked up on it too, I have to wedge a piece of cardboard next to it to get the signal to pass through. Fuck, I haven’t even had time to test everything on it to make sure it all works. I hope it does.

Anyway, this post blows. That’s okay though… I haven’t written shit in forever, so things are bound to be sludgy and not flow right at first. I think the key is just to keep moving forward. Hopefully I’ll start posting music once I’ve had a chance to sit down and figure out my new toy. It’s about time I have something to show for all this music shit I keep buying!

Keep reading my shit, and keep writing yours. It doesn’t matter what the fuck you write as long as you keep doing it, and keep pushing forward with your art and creativity. Keep that goddamn ball rolling, and take it easy!
